We were on our way to the park

We were on our way to the park. I needed to do a commercial. The music played. My sister giggled as I made a comment. My mother proud of me. Meters away from the park. Something happened. A car came at us. The impact moved our car to the other side of the street. I saw my mom struggling to keep the steering wheel in control. We stopped. I turned back see my sister crying. She is not hurt. I see my mom the true hero. She accelerated as she saw the car going into her car. If she had not accelerated she would have not been here now. The car destroyed from the rear. The impact still stroked our veins as we managed to get out of the car. We saw the man that caused the accident.

Why is it that if we were so happy this had to happen?

It wasn’t my mother’s fault; I mean no one can say she was drunk or she wasn’t paying attention no one can blame her. The man took the stoplight and smashed right into us.

So many things happening at once and I just thanked God for having his hands on my sister and my mother.

I heard a song that said “In a moment, everything can change” and its so true in that specific moment my whole life could have changed or what’s worse, lives could have been taken from my life.

I thank God for always watching over my family and me.

Point of this writing… enjoy life, value what you have not only for a moment but every day that you awake in your life.
